In 14 years as an Architect, Thomas Uemoto has Collaborated, Designed + Illustrated architectural + planning projects with architectural firms for some of the largest companies in the world like Emaar Misr, Daewoo, Sama Dubai, Oqyana, Lotte Co., Ltd.
Project types, that Thomas has worked on, are predominantly in the Hospitality Genre (Resorts, Hotels, Mixed-Use, Residential + Retail). Originating in Hawaii and starting at an early age, Thomas has been involved with the hospitality industry in roles as a designer and within the service sector.

In terms of inspiration, Nature, People, Places + Experiences, and the variety of combinations thereof, resonate the most with me. I'd like to share with you, the writing of a poet who once marveled (please pardon the personalization):
"To me the sea is a continuous miracle,
The fishes that swim – the rocks
-the motion of the waves
-the (planks) with men on them,
What stranger miracles are there?""
